Wedding Hairstyles Ideas

This spring and summer there will be many new and different wedding hairstyles to pick from. Some of these new styles include:

1. Loose chignon with curly tendrils of hair around the face and sides. This type of hairstyle has a certain ‘undone’ look to it with loose strands all over. Add tight pin curls to these strands for a very romantic look.

2. Long and smooth. Wearing your hair down and long for your wedding is always a great option. Dress your style up by adding some hair accessories, some highlights or soft waves throughout. Make sure your hair is extra shiny and soft for the big day. Do a deep condition several days before your big day and add shine serum to your hair after it has been styled.

3. Partial updos. These are always a great option for the bride that doesn’t like her hair pulled completely up, but doesn’t want her hair to look plain by wearing it down. Add curl to the hair that is pulled back in a ponytail, or clip on a pony fall for a fantastic and quick modern look.

Stay tuned for a top wedding hairstyles video for this spring and summer. In the mean time, check out the latest wedding hairstyles picture gallery.

  • Dark Skin:Those who were blessed with a dark skin tone can enjoy the pleasure of sporting a wide array of pastel shades. However it seems that both makeup artists as well as celebrities tend to stick to greens and blues. Fans of the pastel makeup with a dark skin color can dive into the depth of combination and various designs. It is also highly recommended to first apply a high quality primer to your lids. This is the must have detail that would secure the long-lasting effect of your makeup. Moreover you can also complete the accentuating of the eyes with a black eyeliner. Crown the overall look with black mascara, as the ultimate final touch.

  • Fair to Olive Skin: Those who own a similar skin tone can go for eye shadows that have a blue undertone. These would include the green and blue, however pink shouldn’t be neglected either when organizing our both casual or formal look. Whether you are keen to sport a girlish makeup or would rather count on the profound tones of blues and greens the point is to add also a tint of brown to the crease area. As specialists claim it will further boost the radiating look of the eyes. When it comes of eyeliners, in this case there’s no need to stick to black instead brown-lack will look just as fabulous. Finish your makeup with a properly suiting brown-black or classy black mascara to put those lashes into the spotlight.

When it comes to fashion, rebranding is sometimes the best idea one could have. Donatella Versace launching Versus yet again after many years of fashion-silence, in collaboration with Christopher Kane, was one of those great ideas. Versus spring 2010 collection was presented at Milan Fashion Week and it definitely represented a great success.

“It’s a young collection,” said Donatella about the recent line of clothes, and the truth is that Christopher Kane’s influence and perspective is genial and fresh. And the most beautiful thing is the capacity to mix different periods of time, but it seems it’s not impossible, since the designer inserted in the collection vintage Versus accessories, just like that pair of sunglasses made ten years ago.

The Versus spring 2010 collection comes in simple, yet intense colors: mostly black, red and a neutral tone, leaving all the strength, power and statement to go to the designer’s cuts, details and fabrics. Essentially, the collection was divided into few categories: rock’n’roll looks, cocktail dresses, body-conscious dresses, feminine and sensual, and embellished designs which screamed luxury and self-confidence.

Alexander Wang’s fashion show was definitely a hot spot during New York Fashion Week. No wonder, as the designer is hot, and all the celebrities in the front row surely proved it. Anna Wintour, Rachel McAdams, Nina Garcia, DVF, Terry Richardson, Tavi, Jen Brill, and our all time favorite, the Sartorialist, Scott Schumann.

For the approaching spring season, designer Alexander Wang had in mind a certain back-to-school vision. School girls were re-imagined in letter jackets and knee-highs, along with the black-and-mesh look that became his signature over the time.

From soft grays and neutral tones in which the fashion show begun, Wang quickly passed on to his favorite all time color: black. The collection included strong-shouldered sweat shirts, shirts striped in red and white lines, extremely short tight miniskirts, lots and lots of boxy vests and jackets.

The accessories chosen to match the collection were in line with the present common sense of fashion: zippered sandal boots, heels covered in leopard prints and mesh transparent long button-downs, along with lace-up closures.
This heavy-hitter collection was definitely worth to be there, as Wang practically re-invented himself again, as he always does, each line he creates.
